Global Thinking support for teachers.

Global Thinking offers schools, teacher training institutions and local authorities a diverse range of support opportunities including:

• Curriculum Development Fund - grants of up to £3,000 for teachers to develop innovative and replicable good practice.
• Teachers Networks - dynamic peer learning networks which incorporate CPD training, specialist support and payment for supply cover.
• The Global Thinking Community Network - a database of community based organisations offering locally available resources, training and support to teachers and teacher trainers on the global dimension.
• Global Thinking Mentors– experienced education practitioners who provide mentoring, training or advice on embedding the global dimension throughout the school.
• Global Thinking Case studies- The Global Dimension in action! Real inspiring examples of Global learning in the East of England with accompanying resources.
• Find out why and how Local Authorities are supporting the global dimension.Strategic Partnership Grants - partnerships with Local Authorities and Initial Teacher Education providers support the global dimension in education.

Schools need to show that they are ‘Sustainable Schools’, enhancing ‘Community Cohesion’ whilst ensuring that ‘Every Child Matters’.
