Caverstede Early Years Centre enabled practitioners to explore diversity and embed the global dimension into early years practice. Firmly rooted in the belief that children need to understand and value their own changing identities to comprehend and appreciate different identities, this project used the richness of variety within the local community as the starting point to exploring diversity further a field.

Investigating Sustainable Energy

East Bergholt Primary School, along with their partner school in Uganda, Buhumba Primary School, explore sustainable energy and livelihoods with their pupils.
Pupils said:
"This is the best day ever!" “We didn’t want to stop for breaks” “Can we do this again?”
and a teaching assistant said:
“This is bringing out the best group work.”

Global Citizenship in ITE Music

22 secondary schools, Cambridge University's Faculty of Education and a local music education group-Sewa-Education teamed up to build world music training opportunities into the Music secondary PGCE course.
