Overall aim/mission of the organization:
ACER (the Association of Colleges in the Eastern Region) is a regionally-based organisation whose strategy and direction are determined by a Board of Trustees and is managed by a team of professionals led by the Chief Executive.

Educational goals and objectives of the organization:
ACER is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee with the core aim of supporting improvement in the quality of teaching and learning in the learning and skills sector. ACER supports member colleges both through its representational role and by offering a range of membership services which include continuing professional development and consultancy. ACER also works with colleges and other providers in the sector, regionally and nationally, through its project work.
